Food Guardian
Food Guardian is a mobile application designed to reduce food waste. Food Guardian records food waste in real time and encourages saving food through gamification. Users can track the amount of food they buy and receive reminders to store leftovers in a shared refrigerator. Further modules include a food calendar, a shopping list, a leftovers contest and a donation section. Food Guardian also supports the recycling of surplus food in cooperation with food suppliers and related organizations. The application is made for the iOS system.
