Smart Charging

Smart Charging is a set of charging services within the Baidu Map application for electric vehicle drivers. A charging map on the home page shows nearby charging stations and detailed charging information. Panoramic pictures and the state of each charger are displayed, and different charger states are marked in different colors. Charging station information also appears during destination search and route planning. Vehicle specific cards present real time power information. Smart Charging is available for Android and iOS phones and aims to reduce driver concerns about battery power on trips.

Baidu App for the Elderly

Baidu for the Elderly is a mobile application that provides content and services for older users. The application uses an age-friendly design system with larger fonts, a unified feed layout, enlarged touch areas and simple wording. All content can be read or listened to. Videos include intelligent subtitles. Voice and image search allow older users to search by speaking or by taking a photo. Voice synthesis can use recorded voices of family members to read texts aloud. The application runs on both Android and iOS systems.

Macys App

Macy's App is a mobile shopping application that was redesigned in 2019 for Android and iOS devices. The application allows customers to browse and purchase fashion, beauty and home products from a smartphone or tablet. The layout is clean and simple, and takes visual cues from fashion media and consumer technology products. Camera-based tools support scan and pay, and augmented reality features allow customers to preview products before purchase. The redesign was based on extensive user research and on customer feedback, and user engagement increased after the launch.

Joyster

Joyster is a mobile application for tracking mental symptoms alongside physical well-being and daily activities. Each entry takes less than thirty seconds to add, so daily records stay simple. The application reviews the collected data and shows which activities and foods have a positive or negative effect on well-being. Insights present trends and triggers in a clear format. Human and lifestyle illustrations appear throughout the interface, and a new illustration is shown on the dashboard each day. Joyster is designed for iOS and Android.

"News" is an interview application for audio information. It is inspired by the ios apple flat design with illustrations to illustrate the information blocks. Visually the background has an electric blue color as a mission to make the blocks stand out. There are very few graphic elements, the objective, to make the application easy to use without distracting the user or losing it.
